York Stroke Support Club
The group meets on the third Wednesday
of the month from 2:30-4:30pm at St. Andrews church hall. The group organise a range of activities, therapies and
speakers focused around support following a stroke for both the survivor and their families.
Keighley Stroke Club
The club meets on Tuesday evenings at Airedale General
Hospital in Keighley, where members enjoy speakers, music evenings and outings.
The group caters for individuals recovering
from stroke and is a 'time out' opportunity for their carers. The club covers the Keighley and South Craven areas.
Rotherham Neuro Support Group
Group meetings take place on the third Thursday evening
of the month at Rotherham Park Rehabilitation Centre.
They also meet fortnightly on Monday evenings for Ten Pin Bowling
and enjoy monthly coach trips. Stroke survivors and their carers are welcome at all events.
Sheffield
Stroke Club North
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at Sheffield's Northern General
Hospital.
The group enjoys the theatre, musical evenings and bingo. Outings are also often organised, including a huge
Christmas Party. The group caters for the needs of both stroke survivors and their carers.
Stroke
Club Juniors (Hull)
One of the first stroke clubs primarily for younger stroke survivors. They meet at
The Avenues pub on the first Wednesday of each month from 1-3pm. The group focuses on stroke issues in their area and are
proactive with the stroke planning board and the community stroke team. They also enjoy outings and speakers to their group
on a regular basis.
Rydale Stroke Club
This well-established stroke
club in the Malton area meets on the last Thursday of the month from 1:45-3:30pm at The Community House, Malton. Many
activities, talks and outings are planned for the coming year, so it's a great place to make new friends.
Normanton Stroke Club (Wakefield area)
This stroke club is the first Stroke Association run
club within the Yorkshire and Humberside region. It is organised and supported by Stroke Association staff. The aim of the
club is to ensure that members have up to date information on stroke and can become involved with stroke awareness and
service shaping in their area. Regular speakers give information and support on all aspects of living with stroke, as
well as social support and interaction. The club meets on the third Wednesday of each month. For further information

Western Hall Stroke
Club - Pontefract
The club meets at Western Hall Community Centre every Monday from 1-3:30pm. With many
activities, including arts and crafts, both stroke survivors and their carers are welcome to attend.
Harrogate and District Stroke Club
The club meets at Station View Elderly Persons
Complex from 6:30-8:30pm on the first Wednesday of the month. With a range of activities, occasional outings and guest
speakers all are made to feel welcome at the group. Transport can sometimes be arranged to get members to and from the group.
West Leeds Stroke Club
This well-established group meets at Hawthorn Mill Sheltered Housing
Complex and offers a range of activities including gentle exercise, outings and speakers. Everyone is welcome at club
meetings, which are held on the third Wednesday of the month between 10am-2pm.
North
Leeds Stroke Club
With the support of Moor Allerton Elderly Care the stroke club supports people affected
by stroke within Moor Allerton and the surrounding area. Meeting at St.Pauls Church on King Lane the group have a range
of activities, exercise and outings. The group meet fortnightly on Mondays from 11am-2pm.
