Stroke clubs.

Stroke Clubs are local groups for those affected by stroke, including stroke survivors and carers. They aim to provide a regular meeting place for people to come together and share their experiences as well as opportunities to take part in a programme of activities.   However we cannot offer any guarantees over wether or not a particular group is suitable for younger stroke survivors. Please contact your local organiser. Alternatively you may wish to start up your own group. 2nd chance can help you do this and has a affiliation programme for groups suitable for younger stroke survivors. JIGSAW (Joint Initiative Group for Stroke Awareness & Wellbeing) Venue: Christ Church, Mytham Road, Little Lever, Bolton BL3 1JE Meeting time: second Tuesday (monthly) 1-3pm Activities: Social and self help group with guest speakers and organised outings. DISABILITY SPORTS IN WALES

Disability sports wales The Disability Sport Wales National Community Development Programme is a joint initiative between the Sports Council for Wales, the Federation of Disability Sport Wales and the 22 local authorities across Wales. The scheme is aimed at developing quality community based sporting and recreational opportunities for disabled people throughout Wales. Judo (adults) - Cardiff Judokai This club has both disabled and non-disabled participants and is suitable for anyone aged 16 plus. Judo - Sogo Judokai This is an integrated club with both disabled and non-disabled members. Jumpin' Jaks Judo Club Judo for children with a disability
